In this episode of 'Ag Talk, Your Story Matters,' Venessa interviews Annie Bradley from North Georgia, who shares her unique journey into agriculture. Annie's story begins in seventh grade when her interest in chickens led her to explore more about animals and ultimately join FFA in high school. Despite initial challenges, Annie pursued an education in agriculture, changing her major to livestock production at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. Her internships across various states and her current role as a livestock and poultry inspector for the Georgia Department of Agriculture highlight her practical experience. Personally, Annie's familial discovery of her late grandfather's agricultural roots adds a sentimental layer to her passion. Additionally, the discussion delves into the themes of imposter syndrome, the importance of showing up, and the correlation between gratitude and memorable experiences in the agriculture sector.
