Walking in Faith: Cara's Journey Through Love and Loss
In this episode of Ag Talk, hosted by Venessa Wood, longtime friends Venessa and Cara Wilson explore Cara's journey of faith, her life with her late husband Chris Wilson, and the incredible work and mission he left behind. Chris, who started the Ranch Horse Team organization at Texas Tech and battled cancer for three years, wrote a 40-day devotional for cowboys titled 'I'll Drop You Off,' which was completed and published just months before his passing. Cara reflects on their life together, their deep faith, and the support they've received from friends and family. She also shares the recent efforts to create an audiobook version of Chris's devotional, involving 40 different voices to bring his words to life. The episode delves into the themes of God's timing, obedience, grief, and the importance of community support.
